The backs of both his 1962 and 1965 cards mention arm troubles, so that may explain why it all seemed to fall apart for him beginning in 1966. He retired with a career record of 101-80, a lifetime 3.

The only two things that save this card from total failure is the fact that he played for the Giants and the single on the Play Ball game. San Francisco had a deep pitching staff in 1978, so Minton spent most of the year in Phoenix. He made 11 relief appearances all together for the Giants. Friday, July 17, 2015.

The New York Yankees selected him in the fourth round of the 1972 June Draft. Straight out of El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, California. Klutts signed immediately and, as a 17-year-old. In the spring of 1976, Klutts made a tag at second and pulled his hand away in pain.
