We got the last tickets for the entire week we were going to be in Paris. They were for 8PM on May 12, the night before we flew home. Boxes of Curiosity was born out of a need to explore the notion of confinement and restriction through the assemblage of old and interesting found objects. Delving into our curious fascination with death, religion and the macabre, via gothic Victoriana, the art of taxidermy and a bit of theatre for good measure, it seems one object leads to another and a story emerges, sometimes of its own accord. 30 x 22 x 10.
