Sharing our learning with the world! July 1, 2016. Writing a class book in English, doing a variety of different things in Maths, Fencing and a special activity as a year group! This afternoon we worked with 3E on some beautiful seaside art work and some research on the seaside. Our fencing lesson was amazing fun and we even engaged in some duels! Sharing our learning with the world! Who were the house champions this year? July 22, 2016. Firstly, thank you to parents who attended sports day last week. It was Elm who became champions and lifted the sports day trophy! This week saw the Unihoc competition where all houses played really well but it was Pine who became the Unihoc champions of 2016. It was an especially pleasing day to be in Pine because they won the trip to McDonalds! Oak used their brains to win the Times table challenge yesterday! .
Sharing our learning with the world! We are weather reporters! This week in 4W we have done a real mix of different things! We have been writing more poetry- even writing a class poem about chicken, which the boys were very happy about- and have been looking at statistics in Maths. Wednesday was Geography Day and we wrote and performed poems, did some Olympic themed Maths, presented weather reports, and performed some samba-style music- all because our chosen country was Brazil! July 2, 2016.
Sharing our learning with the world! July 24, 2016. 5G had an amazing last week at school. It was action packed with trips to McDonalds, games, uni hoc and times tables challenges! Miss Griffiths has had the most fantastic year with 5G and there were lots of tears Friday when it was time to say goodbye. Miss Griffiths would like to thank 5G for all of their kind words, presents and well wishes! She felt very spoilt! July 15, 2016.
