Skipper Class

Continuing with our Summer safety theme, today we discussed how to keep safe around water. Skipper class thought up some rules and gave them the title Water Safety. This week we are thinking about Sun Safety. We learnt a song called Slip Slop Slap. Ask us what this means. We dressed our children appropriately for sunny weather. We also created sun safety posters. Today we finished our Picasso paintings by adding the facial features randomly.

Admiral Class

Well done to Amy and Alyssa who have been awarded special praise for their hard work this year and for being great ambassadors for our school. We will be collecting reading books, library books and reading records on Wednesday this week. Please remember to bring them into school. Holiday reading records will be given out to use over the holiday. In Art we have been creating Aboriginal artwork. We are really proud of our work.

Emperor Class

We had an amazing time today at Tesco in Ferndown. We met David and Beth who took us all around the store on their Farm to Fork Trail. We went into the warehouse, tasted lots of different cheeses, learnt all about bread and cake making at Tesco and we even went into the freezer area! That was really cold. We would all like to say a big thank you to Beth and Dave for inviting us.

Peacock Class

Problem-solving in making our fruit salad. We sliced the fruits into fractions. We used blueberries, strawberries, apples, grapes and melon. A visit from a familiar doctor! July 7, 2015. We learnt about the role of a doctor and how they help us. Interviewing Aaron our sports coach. Our visit from the Dorset fire brigade! June 22, 2015. Assembly cup winners this week! June 12, 2015.

Gatekeeper Class

We have studied the style of art in. We wrote some lovely and thoughtful letters to the Sea City museum to thank them for the fascinating experience we had there.
