Sharing our learning with the world! Crossing the weir at Sarehole Mill. We decided to pause for a spot of posing as we crossed the weir. Our trip to Sarehole Mill. As part of our topic on rivers we went to Sarehole Mill. We got into river to measure the depth of the river bed and we measured how fast the river was moving. We had lots of fun and got to practise our measuring skills.

Sharing our learning with the world! July 16, 2014. The Japanese have created a style of sewing called Zakka sewing which basically is making an everyday item, but which is fancy and pretty. We practiced our stitching by making a book mark and then created a purse, mobile holder or pencil case using those stitches. Blanket stitch as a new one for everyone. Our End of Year Trip.
