Our Teach Activity due 12-10. The overall success of everyone was more than anticipated. Trial by fire, but is was very successful. No one cried, and we all are closer to facing the first day on the job. 11-23 Blog on the Teach session. Similar to last week, we split into groups, and went to our areas. The first group taught about animal and plant cells. I also learned that in order to teach science you definitely have to know what you are talking about.
Learning to Listen to the Wisdom of a Child. It seems like there is so much more to being a teacher than just dispersing basic academic education. This involves educating kids not only where academics is concern but ultimately where lving life is concerned. After all what good is having academics without a sense of character.
I think all the activities were a lot of fun and it was neat to get to see the people from class teach. I really enjoyed this semester and I enjoyed this class. You can not just say hey take some abiotic stuff and take some biotic stuff and make a backyard ecosystem. They would just look at you like what are you talking about? The second group did.
