The children made hand prints with water on paper towels and observed what happened to them. They then suggested reasons for what they saw. Where have our hand prints gone? The children asked questions about their hand prints and then investigated how to make them evaporate more quickly. Year 4 have been using concrete resources to find fractions of quantities and to convince a skeptic! Problem solving with perimeter.
