Thursday, July 28, 2011. Ryan is already 1! This little boy has stolen my heart with his wide-mouth grins and blond curls. He absolutely adores his big brother and would love to be able to talk. Ryan picked up on walking quickly, so we are having lots of fun watching him weeble wobble around the house. He is a happy soul and we love him dearly. Happy Birthday Ryan! Just a pilgrim journeying to Zion. As I looked around at the faces of the men who filled that homeless shelter; the weariness in their eyes and the scars on their tethered cheeks told the stories of life on the streets in silence. I could feel the weight of their brokenness as they drug their sore feet and slumped their tired shoulders. My soul wept and my heart broke as my helplessness choked me in the flood of the desperation that surrounded me. Who will cast the first stone? My hear.
