My attempt to document 40 sunrises in Eastern Cincinnati. The sun slowly rose up in the distance, a blood red across the eastern ridge line. The eastern hills are becoming engulfed by the floating fog bank. To give you an idea of what I mean, check out this comparison photo I whipped together. This is a photo of the same tree in Eden Park, taken during two sunri.

A blog of discovery and identifying birds. This couple flocked together always. They nested in a small pond just behind my home but their nest was destroyed by something. Saw two Brown Thrashers looking for food, and as you can see from one of the photos, one of them scored a nice meal. The Anhinga is a bit of a show off, or so I thought.

I have been shirking my blogging duties recently, but for good reason. At the end of February, I left South Korea. It was a hard thing to do, but it was the right thing for me.
