Tuesday, June 3, 2014. One of my early motherhood realizations was around the idea of the unobserved. Firsts are easily identified and celebrated. Lasts are often unnoticed and unrecognized - gone until you look back from the new stage and think, remember when. Like the last time Clara crawled. Or the last butchering of the word spaghetti. So we recognized and appreciated it. Our last season of non-scheduled bliss.

Sunday, October 24, 2010. We got to be part of her baby shower. This weekend we went to an absolutely beautiful wedding just inland of Ventura, California. Who would have thought that you could drive a half hour inland and be in a wooded forest! We love Ian and Emily and were happy to be part of their day. Their wedding reflected who they were as a couple perfectly. Sunday, October 17, 2010.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Barry, Alyssa, and Kendyl." I noticed that the web site stated " March 4, 2011 by abmeisel." They also stated " So we have a grape at this point. This was a picture of my 9 week ultrasound. Its hard to see but the baby is head down. You can even see the little feet and arms which are just long enough to meet over his heart. You can hear the tech saying some tidbits about the heart rate, although we didnt get to hear it. They dont listen to the heart beat until 12 weeks, so next appointment. Wednesday, April 06, 2011. For Christmas we got Pearl a Swan Lake DVD that features scenes from the ballet and a little lesson on how to do some of the steps, all geared towards little girls. Oops, skipped a day.
