Wednesday, 9 May 2012. Time has been acting very strange lately, creeping slowly, and speeding past me before I can grasp it, it slips through my fingers and all I want to do is hold it tightly. Making sense of the past three months has been and will continue to be a challenge. I know my fathers hear.
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a KNOWN God. Never did I imagine in my wildest dreams that I would have the opportunity to live in such a beautiful city. Kolkata is a city bursting with culture and chaos with the perfect balance of peace and serenity. To be able to capture these beautiful memories on camera still does not do any justice for the beauty I have encountered over the past 3 months. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.
It is the short rainy season in Kenya. There are storms every day and the power is out just as often as it storms. I said goodbye to the children I taught in Marurui, on Monday. There were many hugs and I am going to miss those kids much more than they realize.
Where has the time gone! As of next Tuesday I will be on my home. The girls did such a great job at entering into the culture, and engaging with the people they came in contact! It made for a fast week, we were sad to see them go.
