Not something you want your grade school kids saying about you. One kid keeps trying to look up skirt and one of my 2nd graders pinched my ass yesterday. In his short life, he left a powerful legacy by bringing laughter and friendship to so many. He delighted in many things - dinosaur toys, anything to do with pirates, the family dog Boston, the simple glory of nature. Most of all, Charlie was devoted to his family, including his parents, John and Abigail, and elder sister, Esther. He died peacefully in his sleep at 12. 25am on December 5th, 2013.

Tuesday, October 9, 2012. 6 weeks, July 15th. They came for a visit July 15th and stayed the whole week. Lucia adored being held almost constantly and watching the kids.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Yesterday finally brought some beautiful weather! Micah and I decided to play outside in the yard. But this pine straw tastes pretty good.
