Old Thoughts, New Paths. Peace out, Peace Corps. Five Prayers and A Widow.
Fresh out of grad school and weeks away from being a PCV in Morocco. Peace Corps told me I had to learn more than one new language! In Morocco I am learning as I go. I knew little to nothing about Morocco except for the little that I was taught in class, what Google told me, and what I saw in the movie. My mom was born in California and she was raised in Guadalajara. She moved back to the US as a teenager to find work. My dad was born and raised in Juarez.
