Software piracy is rampant nowadays especially in developing countries. According to Wikipedia, developing countries are those countries with lower living standard, underdeveloped industrial base and low human development index. Thus, the GNP of these nations is quite low and disposable income is scarce, resulting to weak purchasing power. I think there are several actions that software companies can undertake to combat software piracy.

Privacy cannot probably be totally eliminated but it can be reduced by a considerable extent if serious efforts are put towards preventing it. What do you think? February 22, 2014.
