Innan avfärd så tog vi ett hjärtligt farväl av hotellföreståndarinnan Chantel, en förtjusande dam vars man själv var cyklist och cyklade två timmar varje eftermiddag. Vi nådde slutligen Girona och fann ett tvåstjärnigt hotell i stadens norra kvarter. När man cyklat runt 10 mil i 35gr värme så tar man första bästa och hoppas på turen, denna gång så hade vi inte samm.
