They also stated " Once upon a time, I used this blog to update family and friends on my adventures preparing to run my first half marathon. I successfully ran a half Disney; January, 2012. I am still running, just not as often as I should. Regardless, not certain why I stopped writing, especially as the title of my blog, A Half at 50, is and was a double entendre as of age 50, I ran a half marathon AND reached half my goal of living to 100. Our brave, determined, head-strong girl flew the coup to spread her wings and beauty in a new realm. My heart tugged as a realised that someone else would watch you through your days as you discover this exciting new world.
Ian was a hard working, happy, generous, warm, respectful, loving young man. He lived hard and fast, always a worry to his parents and our grandmother, but his smile and charm would light up a room.
