Musings from a Survivor, Writer, Teacher, Wanderer. On January 17, one week before his 82nd birthday, Dad passed away from complications during a cardiac procedure. I have done some writing in the aftermath of losing Dad, but mostly for others .
It has been a couple years since I last posted anything. I am doing well and praising God for being a 5 year survivor. I give Him all the glory. I hope my anniversary may encourage any of you who may have just been diagnosed or any who are going through treatment. Many of us have gone through a similar path and are still here.
The man is a small universe.
If everything comes down to love. Then just what am I afraid of. When I call out Your name. Something inside awakes in my soul. Everything rides on hope now. Everything rides on faith somehow. When the world has broken me down. Your love sets me free. When my life is like a storm. Rising waters all I want is the shore. Your love sets me free.
