First haunts on Open Street Map! February 16, 2015. As part of an assignment I undertook to map my local neighbourhood on Open Street Map. As a newcomer to Open Street Map, I used the IDEditor to enter in some building perimetres, walkways and points around my locality. I also entered in a few establishments downtown which I have had connections with in the past and presently. For example The Long Valley Bar.

Languid meanderings in a digital undergrowth. Do I forge ahead with the optimistic idea I initially proposed? My intent was to explore the interaction of the symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Anglo-Irish landowners and the more identifiable but historically under-represented tenants and servants.
