HERE ARE SOME things we made. This year they opened a new writing center in The Tenderloin, a troubled community where kids witness drug use and violence on a daily basis. To get the new center up and running, they needed to reach out to a new generation of volunteers. While many advertisers have used Instagram, we believe we are the first to use the platform in this way.

We only planted about half of what we came home with but it looks great already. Seven new Heather plants along the curb. And 6 new flowering plants in the rose bed.
