The site had the following in the homepage, "For my creative habit I decided to spend 30 minutes a day sketching a single object." I noticed that the web site stated " The objects would change daily so I could focus on more." They also stated " The actual goal of this project for me was to better myself at getting down forms and figures. I really think these helped a lot in my drawing skills. Thanks to the wonderful people who modeled this week at Open Figure Session, I was able to get some nicer sketches this time around. Mostly 5 second to 1 minute gestures here. Sketches were done at Open Figure Session on 9. Got the opportunity to draw the Battle Games Association on campus this week! Here are some of those quick sketches.
I actually found a lot of fun sketching boots, finding different shapes, folds, buckles, etc. Now I feel more inspired to add what I learned from these sketches. As an extra, I painted the elf from last week in Photoshop. Afterwords, I decided to let go and play with a bit of style.
This is out final week of our creative habits. I switched this week with Josie.
Native American portraits excepting Betty Zane. The famed Indian hunter, Wetzel, waits to fell one of the wolves. We watched a documentary on this man named Bill Cunningham in class T.
On each rhino to get them life in my sketches. This one just might be my favorite sketch out of all of them. I had a load coloring these drawings! I feel they add a lot more emotion and feeling to them.
