This piece offered very valuable ideas to me about writing and how people tend to interpret and go about tackling different kinds of writing, and how the format and expectations of a teacher in assigning writing often dictate how the assignment is received.

His attention to detail and his ability to read a photograph allow him to look at a piece of documentary work and extract a previously unrecognized meaning.
