I wanted to document my paint swatches, while recreating the thought process that goes through my head. The piece is completely interactive. The paint swatches are hung on nails and are in little booklets that can be looked though. The pieces on the shelves and hanging on the walls are mobile; this is so those who are viewing it can play dream-house too.

The first two components of the project were all about color relativity. The eye can perceive one color as two different colors depending on the background the color is on. We also explored color relativity in the reversed grounds part of the project. The goal was to find the middle color between the two ground colors and place it on either ground. The end result showed the middle color as more like the opposite ground color. 43 Illusion of 3D Space.
