With all the intense stories of the situations these immigrants were in it made it somewhat depressing. However, when the APTP performed Who wants to be an American I believe it really loosened everyone up with a good laugh.

And the idea of participation. Allowed these teens to share their stories and their hardships, but also give voice to those in their community and make these stories known. There are so many dangers and risks with it, but the children are willing to do it for what is on the other end.

What I can tell you now is that my paper will draw heavily from the readings in the PIP packet and from my blogs. I will also highlight my involvement with City Year because I love talking about that organization. Most importantly this will be the best paper I have written in my college career.
