This class has allowed me to see Powerpoint from a different pair of lenses. I can now see that Powerpoint can be used in many different ways. Learning about Skype and experiencing it and being able to communicate with someone using it was amazing and I hope to someday use it with my students.

New year, new school, new bulletin boards! I took some inspiration from Pinterest but the artistic touches are all mine. The immigration vocabulary sheet is to help my students study the new vocabulary and the immigration letter is my way of scaffolding my very new beginners to help them understand the format of a letter and begin to explain how they came to the United States.
On Monday we handed in our podcasts! I feel that this webquest would be good for a fifth or sixth grade class and would show students how to properly research a topic and create something that can be useful for people who are visiting their city. Webquests are a great tool to use in the classroom and I look forward to using them effectively to teach my future classes. I think the hardest part will be coming up with an idea that will have enough information to include when .
