Friday, June 12, 2009. They form the unformed imaginings of the mind. They are useful for taking a portion of those imaginings and touching the minds of other people. Words have become a crutch though. We have taken them and depended on them when we pursue the imaginings of our own minds. Even better were the writings of the Japanese writers. The Japanese poets refined the art of the short poem. The most refined were the Tanka and the Haiku.

another reminds me that love demands protection, that it will die if you do not safeguard it. Not just romantic love, but love love. While these two thoughts could seem, on the surface, at war with one another, i understand and believe both, though i have been unsure how to operate under these terms. Mom is one year older.
