I sometimes stumble on good design and am intrigued about how one particular website worked. After spending about two hours looking into I just started to understand what was happening. You are just wasting your time in the class and your money. The meter tag is used to .
An advice I would give myself would be to read as much as I can about web design. Informing yourself prior to starting this classes should be a requirement. There is a lot of useful information out there for us to take advantage of. It is never a bad thing to be prepare for what is coming. There are numerous tools out there that would help you along this 32 weeks, and to keep track of those important details.
I have a plethora of experience, both good and bad, when it comes to learning and studying the design of a website and how to code, and loads of advice for the youngens entering Intro to Web in the fall.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with knowing too much about something, especially web. Another thing, keep cool and be open to new ideas and solutions.

I felt it a great advantage that I know Photoshop really well.
I have now learned a few tips of advice for the new group of students coming next semester to learn web design, and wish I have been giving some advice myself. First of all, make sure to be efficient in building comps in Photoshop because if you are not, it can take you longer than it should building them out. Along with that, keep the comps organized cause it will prevent headaches. Example on how to stay organized. Did and discussed similar things as to Dive Into.
The experience was a very humbling one for me. It was hard to realize reality and face the facts, but I will always appreciate the honest advice and help from my teacher. Advice to the New Generation. Along with that, READ the book.
