Spring Trip to the Olympic Coast. Spring Break arrived and we headed west. For us that means a ferry ride and drive along Highway 101, through Olympic National Park, one of the greenest places on earth. We stopped to see Sol Duc Falls along the way. The next morning was rainy, but the skies cleared in the afternoon for a hike along Rialto Beach.

Walking through the streets of Chang Rai is an adventure in its self. You see so much more than when you drive. From my first glimpse of the country from my plane window to riding on the back of a motorcycle to dinner at the night market, this visit has been an amazing experience.
The fable goes that with commerce and prosperity came greed and dishonesty. As the community suffered, so did the land; torrential downpours followed dry years and caused landslides. Man continued to not learn from his doings and Nature sent a plague of scorpions.
We will be starting the process of finding gardeners within the community that want to utilize this beautiful space. After the community has had the opportunity to secure their plot, the gardens will be open to everyone. 00 a year which will go back into the garden fund.
