Thursday, May 9, 2013. Ben and Kate Go Fantasy. My novel is about a young Christian family man whose faith and future are challenged when his wife is diagnosed with ovarian cancer. A recent writing prompt in my writing critique group was to take the characters from our novel and place them into a completely different genre. It was cool and quiet in the thick woods, but Kate was scared.
