For my Magnum Opus I chose to take pictures of street art and graffiti in DC. Graffiti is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Although it has existed since ancient times, the art form is controversial by nature. To some, it is art worth displaying in galleries and exhibitions, and to others it is merely vandalism.
