This project is an exploration of modern American culture, represented by some of the most common but astounding surroundings that I encounter on a daily basis. I find subjects that seem to glimmer, perhaps because they are densely colorful or overwhelmingly plastic. I seek to capture the bizarre; the things in our culture that are so ugly that they are beautiful and profound.
