I believe that art gives us glimpses into the inner worlds of others that we would not ordinarily notice or experience. My work is an unfinished catalogue of glimpses into my world. I embrace cracks, breaks, tears, and faults in my work as they demonstrate the fragility of our experiences, ego and environments. While referencing recognisable moments, places or forms; by focusing on textures, techniques and the nature of my materials I create works that g.

Art is fundamental to my existence, without it I feel incomplete. It allows me to express things that I find difficult to put into words using a visual language. Often I paint what I see while other times I paint what I feel, however it is the connection to my art that is important to me.
