The site had the following in the homepage, "Do I have a story for you! A little insight into facing Choriocarcinoma." I noticed that the web site stated " So the last day has come YAY! Before I get talking, I must apologize for the confusion with the change of chemo dates." They also stated " In my last post I said that April 2nd would be my last day. After my doctors discussed, calculated and decided a few hundred times they finally came to the decision of April 16 would for sure be my last treatment of chemotherapy. April 14; 28th Birthday. I got the opportunity to babysit for my siste."

Cancer Girl Smiles Today I decide to live!

I wish I could tell you a happy ending. An ending to a fairytale, where the beautiful princess finally defeats the terrible monster and lives happily ever after with her prince. I wish her prince could have done more, helped, done something to stop the monster. Instead, he could only stand by quietly, impotent and watch as the monster devoured her. She will smile no more.

I have very few memories of my grandad because of various reasons, but he died on Monday at the age of 95. He was a very organized man and decided that he wanted to use this picture in his obituary. This is a picture that I took of him a long time ago at the request of my grandmother. She wanted to have a postage stamp made for him with his image on it and needed a photograph of him to send in to the folks who were creating the stamps.
