Born in Australia I moved to England at age 19, training in the medical technology of cardiac surgery over a 7 year period. I then returned to Sydney, Australia, working in cardiac transplantation and surgery. At the same time, having a great interest in antique porcelain and pottery, I opened a gallery dealing in this subject. Finally I retired and went on-line with my antique lamp business some 7 years ago.
