Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. This book is about a tragic and often times unheard important piece of history. This Historical Fiction opened my eyes about a part of the world during WWII, where innocent people were trapped between Russian and Germany and suffered greatly without getting much attention or credit. Because I have ancestors in Poland, Unkrain and Finland.
