The film is also the first of its kind being shot almost entirely in Zulu with English subtitles. I believe two versions of the film exist, one in English and one in Zulu. I wanted to hear the native tongue, so I watched a majority of the film in Zulu. Hearing the native language made the film feel more authentic. It also gave me my first exposure to the Zulu language.
