I have long thought of shutting this spot down completely but, for some reason, I cannot bring myself to do so. I am sure, after such a long hiatus, that no one reads anymore. I am okay with that. I just finished skimming over my last dozen entries- what a difference a year makes! This journey has felt so much longer than 18 months and yet, in some ways, it feels as though it all began only yesterday. I turned 30 and grew wise.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Happy 5th Birthday, Liam! July 6, 2010." I noticed that the web site stated " On July 5th, 2010, our little boy turned 5 years old." They also stated " 5 is such a big boy number! I remember feeling a little sad when Julian turned 5, and now I have that same wistful feeling with Liam. We celebrated this momentous day twice. We had a combo 4th of July bbq and birthday bash for Liam, Mom, and Aunt Pam. On Liams actual birthday, we all went to Knotts Berry Farm where Liam could wear his new cowboy gear and fit right in!
