This week we looked at the basics of web design. This web site is simplified as to take our attention directly to the main points. It contains only two visual images which are the main Slide show in the centre of the page and the ITB logo. The designer here tried to limit on images as to portray the main point of the site, that it is an Institute. Web site and that it is needed for vital information weather as to imagery website.
In the lab we then looked at manipulating images in Photoshop with an example of Louis Walsh.
Photoshopped johhny depp made him negative! December 5, 2008. We were asked to draw 3 pictures to describe ourselves. Then choose one and make it bigger. We had to tell a story using 10 pictures or less. me and tom and chris-face did a charlie chaplin vs.
In this week we learned some different techniques using photoshop to edit photos.
Today is my last day at Dublin UNESCO City of Literature! The time has absolutely flown by. I started my day with facebook and twitter. Then Catherine asked me to put some photos onto the hardrive for her so I did that. When that was finished she asked me to sign her name on leaflets for an upcoming events. I then put each leaflet into an envelope and put an address label on each.

The site had the following in the homepage, "On April 1, 2009." I noticed that the web site stated " In Working in Digital Media." They also stated " On the 18th of February we had a class outing. We visited the Bodies Exhibition in the Ambassador, the Hugh Lane Gallery and the Science Gallery in Trinity College. We met on Wednesday morning at 1030 outside the Ambassador Theatre. We walked around the exhibition and saw real life bodies cut open which i found very interesting. This week we got an introduction to the module and we had a look at some of the things that we will be doing in the future here. We were given an assignment to briefly describe ourselves we were asked to do 3 small drawings. We were also asked to pick one of the thumbnail sketches and develop it further. We learned some of the basics in photoshop, using the different tools, and getting to know the interface. We used Illustrator CS4 and learned how to use the basic tools such as the drawing tools, flare tool, blending tools and gradient tool. Are first exercise was to create a flag like logo. Are second exercise was to use the flare tool to make a kind of effect the sun would make.
