Presentation and final review in Barnsley. Last week flew by and our concrete creations were dried out and loaded in to the van on Thursday afternoon. Friday 27th of February was the date of our final review in Barnsley where we set up our flipping podium installation on the pavement of May Day Green and took in the varied reactions of the public over the course of the day. Gatewaytobarnsley Matter Reality

The review went well on site, with issues being raised about the heights of the seats for safety purposes, but generally with the structure recieving praise for the quality of joints considering the materials that we had used. We also recieved an offer from someone wanting to keep our project, and so it will now take pride of place in one lucky persons back garden. Finally we had to load what we had done into the lorry to be transported to barnsley.

Making the project on site. We tested out the chairs, and they easily hold our weights! The traingular shapes are also successful. We worked on the doorway, and distorted the shape by adding extra bars in a kind of swing door shape. This also reflects the original ear shape.
