Today we wrote our letters to Father Christmas. We posted them at the Watcombe Post Box. In school we have been talking lots about reading and what we need to do to make progress. Reading at home is really important. In ensuring that progress is made and that end of year targets are met. If you read at home please make sure that the adult that has heard you read signs your reading record because if you read at home 3 times a week you will earn a house point.

After the half term we will be learning about friendship skills. We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas from the Homerooms. We used the fork biscuit recipe as they are so easy.

Our class teacher is Mrs Donaldson and our classroom helper is Mrs Collings. Mrs Donaldson is off on maternity leave from end of November and so our class teacher will be Miss Hines until later in the year. We are ready for a fantastic year full of fun and exciting learning. We hope you enjoy looking at all our work throughout the year.

This we know because the parents and children ventured into their beautiful herb garden to do a spot of weeding. The herbs have survived the winter and the area is looking good.
