The History of The Verbal Assassin. This is the first in a series of papers that I have been writing for school. For my English class, I was required to write a paper about a positive change in my life. For me, it was this, my blog; it was you, my readers; it was my voice. The Birth of a Verbal Assassin. I learned to write for me, the real me, not the person my instructors thought I should be, but the person that I actually am.
A kind of sweet homespun immortality. I grew up as the over achieving child of missionaries. Every good or bad decision I made was first ran through a filter of how much it would affect my parents work. If it hurt them, I did not do it. If it made them look good, I did. I joined the military next, and lived a life that was foreign to my upbringing.
As of December 1 2009, I will no longer be an employee of The Big Bad Relocation Company. Today has been slightly epic for me. So the catch is that I can quit at any time, with no bonus or strings attached. If I stay until December 1st, they will pay me 3 weeks severance. On top of that, I have accumulated vacation pay. So technically I should be fine, pay wise, until January.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Big choices, cause I am a big boy." I noticed that the web site stated " Its been awhile since I have posted anything so I will give everyone some updates." They also stated " I need to post my pics up from us going out to Maynards. We went with some friends of ours to enjoy a rowdy night since we got an overnight babysitter. Live music, drinks pouring, and best of all redneck drunks dressed up for Halloween making for an extremely eventful night! Which leads me to my next big news! As I said, they are not necessary, these crutches. In fact, I could make it through a deployment without them. But why not have something that aides in making it through to the next day. It is good to have a distraction from reality, when that reality is more real than I would like. There is also the bond with home. It is constantly under stress.
