By analyzing this quote, it is simply saying that we know about the world by what we see, feel, smell, taste, and hear along with your experience. We as an individual have different views of the world due to the different experience, environment, and language.

It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Consider the extent to which this statement may be true in two or more areas of knowledge. We believe that earth is round because scientists have given us this much information about earth.

When I was in high school, I never know what I wanted to do with my life. I never knew what my passion was, what career I wanted to take, or how I was even going to figure it out.

Well if you ask me i think it is something that we use to back up our thoughts and opinion.
