Thursday, January 24, 2008. His excellency Rostam Amir Bakhtiar died in January 17th 2008 in Kronberg Germany. His memorial service will be announced later for the family who live out side of Iran. He was the son of Youssef Khan Amir Mojahed who was the last son of Grand Ilkhani. Rostam was the chief of protocol from the time of Soraya in 1953 till the end of Pahlavi dynasty 1979.
