Watch Out, Popeye! On September 10, 2014 by Baking BLA. It seems I have been craving greens lately, especially spinach while grocery shopping. Last night I found 3 pounds of spinach in the fridge closing in on the expiration date, so I looked for a simple spinach sauce to serve over fresh pasta. Lightly saute garlic, add spinach to the pot until wilted, puree and serve over fresh pasta with cheese. Yum! 2 tablespoons olive oil.
