Sunday, August 21, 2016. We are sad to announce the passing of our wife and mother, Dorothy Jenson. She died peacefully in her home on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the age of 61 due to advanced stage cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of bile duct and liver cancer. Dorothy touched many lives through her work as an artist, through her lifetime of service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all those who knew her as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, neighbor and friend.
Thank you to everyone who remembered Margaret yesterday. It is testament to how amazing Margaret was that so many came to celebrate her life. It was exactly as she wanted it. This will be our last post to this blog. If you want to follow us as we continue our journey, you may do so at our new blog. Open-house Reception for Margaret Swank Straub. Friday, January 2, 2015. Came to town at the beginning of October and did a little photo shoot of us. Now that we are past that, here are some of my favorites. Thursday, January 1, 2015. I slowly started sewing the blocks together whenever I had a spare minute to work on it. It took me a good while to get them all done.
Friday, September 19, 2014. These pictures make me happy! Saturday, September 6, 2014. The Kiddos started the new school year in August. Ean is in 4th grade now. Garrett is starting 1st grade. Kaylie is in her last year at the middle school in 8th grade! They were excited to go back and seem to be doing great so far. Thursday, May 15, 2014. It was a really beautiful area and we had a great time.
Life is just a sequence of Reoccuring Events - Make them fun! Sunday, July 19, 2015. This month started off slow. My Independence Day was spent really quietly at home with my grandma. The rest of my family that lives here had left for Seattle two days earlier. But I did enjoy getting fun pictures of my nephews and niece.
