I was raised in San Francisco. The view from my high school was of the Golden Gate Bridge. The city was my artistic playground. I would ride the bus after school to the various museums for art classes. I believed the Japanese Tea Garden was built just for me. My grandparents lived across the street from the Palace of Fine Arts. During college I worked summers as a river guide for trips for special needs populations.
