Barrier Island Rugs and 79th St. Rugs was established in 1978 on Peachtree Street in Atlanta. Our building was bought in 2008 and they renewed the lease. We specialized in antique Persians, new oushaks, cotton rag rugs and soumaks. We had a moving sale and sold almost all of our inventory. There are some 100 pieces left over in our online store.
