So, I entered the contest to be in the 2012 BYU-Idaho outlet magazine. I know this photo might not have been the most appropriate to enter but I love it so much! So I did it anyway.

8230;From my mind to yours. This was for a campus magazine called. Featuring creative works from students. For these submissions the requirement was to submit photos sized to 8. If selected, the photographs would appear in the annual magazine. I chose to enter this contest because I wanted to be represented on campus as an artist.
Sunday, February 26, 2012. I chose this picture because of all of my shots I liked the style, colors, and subject of this better than any other. Plus if I am going to have a huge picture of something that I took hanging on my wall I wanted what would please me.

Just a red headed girl with a camera. Macro photography of still life scenes was really fun for me to work on. I love setting up a still life scene to photograph in general, so getting close up and seeing them in a different perspective was awesome. I learned a lot about the precision and tact that it takes to get the still life macros just right. Morning Dew on a White Daisy.
I chose this picture because I want to remember my grandma and the values she has taught me. this picture, along with many others, captures the unquenchable spirit I see within her.
