During the MA in Librarianship at the University of Sheffield we had several reflective assignments which took a while to get into but were very useful. Before Sheffield any reflecting I did tended to go on in my own head and not get recorded for future reference. No excuses this time! May 8, 2012. CPD 23 is back again! April 22, 2012.

Because library is not a dirty word. I was in Boston recently and took the opportunity to visit the Public Library. The library is actually in two buildings which are joined together back-to-back, the older McKim building and the modern Johnson building. As a tourist the main face of the library was the McKim building which faces Copley Square. Are available daily starting in the lobby.

But this time it was an engineering company, where I processed invoices and ordered site equipment. I loved working there, and enjoyed chatting to various people on the phone, but by this point I was determined to figure out what I wanted to do.
