Thank you for visiting the website of the Blackpool and District Astronomical Society. BADAS was founded in October 1986 by keen local amateur astronomers from around the Fylde. Our society has around thirty members, with a wide cross-section from novices to experienced observers. Meetings take place on a regular basis on the second Monday of each month. They are friendly, relaxed and fairly informal and all are welcome to attend.
