Monday, 5 May 2008. A tea cup of chopped tomatoes. 1cook the dhal,ginger and turmeric in casserole or a pot for 15 mins. 2keep stirring to avoid the dhal sticking to the cooking vessel. 3 Add tomatoes, green Chillis and salt and mix well and cook on high for 3 mins. Good with plain or pillau rice.
1 medium size Onion, 1 tbsp Ghee. 4 -5 Cloves, 2-3 Cardamoms,1-2 Cinnamon sticks. 4-5 pepper Corns, 700 ml water. 1 Wash and soak the rice for an hour. 2 Cut the Onion into thin slices. 3 Heat the Ghee in a saucepan, add the Onion and fry in medium heat, stirring ocasionally until golden brown. Excellent with any curry, curru sauce OR on its own.
